  1. I like speed, but I am not a competitive person at least not with other people. Defintiely competitive with myself. So, have they found the eejit who through the shoe onto the track? Will there be jail time? I hope there’s some consequence to this person’s actions.

    • Hi Maria,
I don’t think they found the person who tossed the shoe, but it really did a number on the car and the consequences could have been enormous if Danica had rolled directly over the shoe or if she’d spun out since she was in front of the pack. There should be consequences to the person responsible, but I doubt they’ll find the culprit. (And if they did, it hasn’t been in the news.) Thanks for stopping in!

  2. That’s awful. People can be so stupid at times. Anyway, I’m glad nobody was hurt.
Me? A daredevil? A speed demon? Hardly. You should see how tight I grip the door handle when my son drives me anywhere. Oh, and I use the imaginary brake pedal all the time. : )

    • Hi Robin,
Yeah, I don’t get people either sometimes. What are they thinking to toss a shoe on the track? LOL. I do the same thing with the break pedal when I’m in the passenger side.

  3. Hi Dee J!

A daredevil, a speed demon? Hmm…professionally, yes. At least I used to be. I am an adrenaline junkie, so when I was a cop and able to drive fast when required, I was a daredevil speed demon. I loved it!

Now, as a writer, I find my shots of adrenaline when a fan writes to say how much they liked my books. That’s pretty darn exciting too!

    • Hi Kathy,
I agree with the shot of adrenaline after receiving a note from a happy reader. And I can totally see you screaming down the boulevard with sirens blaring! Hmm, I wonder if most cops are adrenaline junkies… Thanks for dropping in!
