You Heard It Here: Happiness Is…
Merry Christmas!
Be good to each other people! Give generously and love with all your heart!
You get what you give.
Back to the regularly scheduled programming…
My “Happiness Is” posts have turned into a bit of a gratitude diary and I’m okay with that. Especially now with the events of the past week at Sandy Hook Elementary. Since I was too sad to finish the sentence, “Happiness is…” I’ve decided to say what I’m grateful for.
I’m SO VERY grateful for my wonderful husband and amazing daughter. I pray for their health and happiness and that I will have them with me for very, very many years to come.
I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and a new year filled with joy.
So, tell me… what are you grateful for?
Hey Dee J. I’m with you – grateful for my family and good friends, and the chance to have a little writing career later in life.
We all need to hug our loved ones a few extra times these tough, emotional days.
Hi Lynne,
I agree! Lots of extra hugs these days! And I’d say your writing career is more than “little!” LOL! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
Yep. Me too. I’m thankful for family, friends, and decent enough health to keep on travelling and keep on writing. : )
A happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year to you and yours, and your readers DeeJ.
Hi Robena,
Thank you! It’s the simple things are the most important, I think. I’m so looking forward to all your books in the new year! Not a bad way to start 2013! Congrats on your success! I’m so happy for you! Thanks for coming by!
Definitely grateful for my family and friends, for the amazing wisdom and support available from our awesome LARA Chapter, and just lately, I’m strangely grateful for the Starbucks Skinny Peppermint Mocha. 🙂
Thanks for the post. I can always use a chance to count my blessings.
Hi Sam,
Yes, our LARA is the best, I totally agree! Mmmm, always grateful for my Starbucks chai latte! Thanks for dropping in!
Ah, Dee J. Yep. Grateful for my family. Friends, both furry and human. A roof over my head and covers to cuddle under. Skinny peppermint mochas definitely make the list today. My garden. My health.
But most of all, the mental, physical and emotional capacity to enjoy life and be grateful.
Hugs!
Hi Christine,
Hugs back at ya! Your list is stellar! I couldn’t agree more! Thanks for stopping in and I hope you and your family have an awesome new year!
I’m thankful for my friends. If the quality of your friends is an indication of what kind of person you are, I’m better than I think. I’m grateful for my fabulous family. I’m grateful for my incredible husband. And of course, Roxy, Felix and Cougar, the superior members of our family, i.e., the cats.
Hi Sharon,
Great list! I may have missed mentioning my fur babies, but I’m certainly grateful their unconditional love! Hope you and your family have a great new year and thank you for stopping in!
I’m also so grateful for my family and friends. And I’m pretty addicted to Starbucks peppermint mochas, too. Wishing you a wonderful holiday and a healthy and very happy new year! *hugs!*
Hi Robin,
I think I see a trend here… family, friends and Starbucks. LOL. Happy holidays and Happy New Year to you too! Huge congrats on your new release, Yours At Midnight, and hanks for stopping in!
