From the first scene onward, she blasts through the story rapid-fire with non-stop action. Tanner Bryant is out for revenge, but is also a hero who doesn’t know it yet, and Jess St. John is a damsel who has stepped into some majorly distressing doo doo. Unfortunately, her family is paying for it.

As it turns out, both Tanner and Jess are looking for and dealing with the same man. As the saying goes, the enemy of my enemy is my friend. After joining forces while on the run, they set out to right an old wrong, and save a dearly loved family from sick-minded, hardened criminals.

You gotta love a writer who can have the hero shoot the heroine in the first scene and somehow still manage to pull off a romance. There are many tender moments in this book as the romance is believably played out. All while Jess is bargaining with a sinister kidnapper, her boss, and on the run with a sexy ex-con who wants to exact revenge no matter what the consequences.

Excellent writing, creative circumstances, and an intense story have the reader turning the pages until sweet justice is finally served.

Jess that girl she’s just funny, “it’s none of your business how old I am. How old are you?” She just made the book so enjoyable to read, she’s full of fire, “you’re going to kiss me like that then stop as if nothing happened,” she blasted. “Maybe I wasn’t done. Maybe I need more.” Tanner is just a hottie, “his sculpted chest, dusted with dark hair, rippled under her fingertips. Veins bulged in his arms.” Not to mention he’s a kinky bas**** (by that I mean he likes to talk dirty while doing the deed) (winks) “come on me, Jess.” He whispered in her ear. “I want to feel you rain that hot cream all over me.” Now if that doesn’t make you want to drop your panties than what will? I liked this book and I can’t wait to read other books by this author.”
