Such a fun read. I Love the steamy romance in all of Dee J Adams novels. This one was a novella so it was the perfect length read. I tend to read from Cover to cover so I found it to be the perfect length. The characters and the story line are so good you cant put it down!

Wow! I loved this book about Elena and Bill finally getting together. Bill is a limo driver that Elena always used. As mother/manager to her movie star daughter, Julie, she used his service often. They had been attracted to each other for years but never let their feelings show until the day Bill was driving Elena and an earthquake hit, nearly killing them! This story tells of their frightening experience and how they finally let each other know how they felt.
Dee Adams is a very illustrative writer making it easy to picture the events taking place. The book is a great read and definitely captures the reader in the story line, but that wouldn’t work if she didn’t have good characters. Bill and Elena are such strong individuals stuck in a situation that they cannot change or control that I couldn’t read fast enough to find out how they handled the spot they were in. Actually, Bill was so well written that he is my new book boyfriend.
This is the type of book where you’ll want to clear some time and just sit and read it. You won’t want to put it down. But be warned, it’s like riding a roller coaster of emotions.
I’m so glad that I won this book in a Just Romantic Suspense giveaway but at the same time, I’m also not glad because I now want to read the rest of the Adrenaline Highs series.
